To say the least, I come from a beard family:
I'm a descendant of Abraham Lincoln, known of course for his crucial mug rug.
My grandfather was the inspiration for the Wizard Whitebeard character from Where's Waldo.
My father has a PhD in Pogonology, the study of beards, and is one of the world's foremost experts on the topic.
My father's step-brother is Billy Gibbons, and my mother's brother is Dusty Hill of ZZ Top.
My brother's beard has been researched for its nature as a homeopathic cure for the common cold.
I myself shaved for the first time in recent memory on October 31st for this competition, and I'll be damned if I let a couple of city slicker Kargoans out-beard me.
